Health and Safety Fair A Health and Safety Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 23 at Luray High School. The fair is sponsored by Page Memorial Hospital, Inc. and Page County Public Schools. There will be big wheel races, health information, screenings, exhibits, free painting, music ami much more.

Children's Art Show Hie Child Care and Learning Center is sponsoring a children’s art show in celebration of the "Week of the Young Child.” Children’s art is on display at the Rappahannock National Bank and the Rappahannock County Library. The show will continue through April 25.

Woman's Club To Meet The Rappahannock Woman’s Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 25 at the home of Mrs. Barbara Wayland near Sperryville. All members are urged to attend. i .

Spring Event Activities Washington Baptist Youth will have fund raising activities at Spring Event on Saturday, April 23 to raise money for Washington Baptist Church and the Youth Group. The youth will be offering free pointing and will also be selling Rayner Snead’s newly published book titled “Hollow Boy.” This book contains information such as: Who was Gid Brown, what is was like growing up in the depression in Gid Brown Hollow, about the Blue Ridge Guide and County Fair of 1931, the Medical Practice of Dr. Snead from 1930’s to 1960’s, and much more. Author will also be present for autographs from 10 until 11 a.m.

Bloodmobile Coming A bloodmobile sponsored by the Rappahannock Extension Homemakers Chib will be held from 3:30-7:30 p.m. on May 11 at Washington fire hall.

Benefit Dinner Planned A dinner will be held to benefit the Child Care and Learning Center on Saturday, April 30. Cocktails will be served from 6-7 p.m. at the Center. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. at individual host and hostess homes. Call 675-3237 for more information.
