thank the community, the judges, our MC, the contestants and their sponsors, and the group sponsors for their continued support of the Miss Rappahannock Pageant. This is our major fund raising event of the year.

The group sponsors this year were John’s Barber Shop, Bill Payne’s Auction, Child Care and Learning Center, F.T. Valley Grocery, Blueridge Technologies, Inc., Culpeper Farmers’ Cooperative,'and the Rappahannock National Bank. Special thanks to the Inn at Little Washington and the following local businesses for their donations for our raffle and door prizes: Country Manor, Four & Twenty Blackbirds, Shaw’s Services, Inc., Sheppard and Grandson Maintenance, the Sperryville Emporium, Appetite Repair Shop, Choose and Cut Christmas Tree Farm, Country Cafe, Faith Mountain, Flint Hill Public House, Flint Hill Store, High on the Hog, Mr. and Mrs. Carson Johnson, Long Mountain Nursery, Northern Fauquier Joycees, Ochs Foods, the Church Mouse and the Sperryville Antique Market.

The appearance of six former Miss Rappahannocks was a highlight of the evening for the large audience, and will be a continuing feature of the pageant.
