Members of the nonprofit CCA, run by volunteers from Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties, will also be entitled to attend eight concerts offered by other associations in Fairfax and Manassas.
Dues are $25 per adult and one $9 payment covering all kindergartenthrough 12th-grade students in a household. That means a couple with four youngsters could see 14 performances for $59, or $9.83 per person. On a per-performance basis, assuming all family members went to all performances, that cost would be 70 cents.
Compare that to Washington, D.C., theater prices! Some CCA members say that going to just one or two performances can be worth the full cost of dues for a season.
