The District IX Honors Choir Performed Magnificat In C by C.T. Pachelbel, Gloria by Antonin Dvorak, Glorificamus TE by Mozart, Deep River by Rene Clausen and Finale (from “The Gondeliers”) by Gilbert and Sullivan.
Only junior and seniors in District IX Honors Choir were eligible to audition for the All-Virginia Chorus. Only two soprano II’s were chosen from District IX. Tracy Hitt is the Alternate for the All-Virginia Chorus.
Tracy has been busy auditioning at several colleges recently. She has been accpected by two colleges. She plans to major in music entering Longwood College in Farmville this fall.
