Summer Quest
Offered Again
Summer Quest, a Regional Governor’s School, sponsored jointly by the Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison and Rappahannock county school systems is for identified gifted and talented students in grades five through eight.
It will be held in the Culpeper County Middle School from August 1 to 12. Hours are from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. One class, “The Mountains,” will be offered at Rappahannock County High School.
The theme for this summer’s program will be “Connections: Bridges to Understanding.”
The program offers intellectually challenging and enriching experiences. The four courses offered during the program provide learning experiences which will challenge the students’ abilities and encourage creative and productive thinking and expression. A depth and breadth that often cannot be achieved in the regular classroom will be emphasized and facilitated by a low teacher-pupil ratio. 1 .
