Mr. Love will work witn beer producers, apple growers and other agricultural producers in the county and make recommendations. The office will organize educational programs and offer advice.
Mr. Love is also well versed in computer programming for recordkeeping and is ready to help anyone in the agricultural field with their computers. He said that the extension office’s information system is basically through the computer.
Mr. Love said that some of the local beef producers are trying some new crops, such as pumpkins, to supplement their business. He said that he looks forward to visiting farms around the county.
“I always wanted to work in agriculture and natural resources. It gives me an opportunity to expand my career and it is nice to be just two miles from work,” said Mr. Love. He lives in Tiger Valley with his wife, Kim.
