New mid-sizea models rrom Chrysler include the Dodge Stratus and the Chrysler Cirrus sedans, often referred to the “cloud cars.”
Designed as comfortable family v cars, this new line offers a number of safety features as standard equipment, and sells for around $17,000. Both models are powered by a 164-hp, 2.5 litre SOC V-6 engine, and will hit the showroom floor in November.
But don’t ask your dealer to order you a Chrysler LeBaron sedan next year. It will only come in the popular convertible model for ’95.
Later this winter, a pair of new front-drive luxury coupes will be introduced.
The Dodge Avenger and. Chrysler Sebring, which are based on the Mitsubishi Galant, will be available with either a 4- or 6-cylinder engine.
