Costume Ball
Rescheduled
The Fauquier Chapter of the American Red Cross serving Rappahannock County is sponsoring its fourth annual costume ball and 1994 Battle of the Caters with music by Rich Lee. The event will be held at Highland School in Warrenton on April 1 from 9 p.m. to midnight. The dance was originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29.
Tickets are $35 per couple and $25 for singles. Proceeds from this dance are exclusively used for residents of Rappahannock and Fauquier and are gifted to the clients.
Rappahannock residents received $2785 in disaster services during the last fiscal year. “We are in urgent need for additional funds for our counties,” said an organizer.
Tickets may be purchased through Rappahannock board members, Norman Getsinger, Nels Parson or Marie Davis or ordered from the Red Corss Office at 53 South Third Street, Warrenton, Va. 22186. “As this is our main fund raiser your help is desperately needed please support this event and have an enjoyable night out at the same time,” said Mrs. Davis.
