Rep. Wolf has conscientiously tried to serve the people of his 10th District. Rappahannock is a very small part of that district, but when he heard that a plant located in Rappahannock County was closing, putting over 100 people out of work, he immediately set to work to help them find new jobs.
We have not always agreed with Rep. Wolf. We deplore his tendency to talk of slashing spending to reduce the deficit while trying to get as much government spending as possible in the 10th District. We particularly dislike his attempt to create another national park out of a string of Civil War battlefield sites in the Shenandoah Valley when the National Park Service lacks the funds it needs to maintain the facilities it already has in the Shenandoah National Park. However we believe he is a genuinely compassionate man who has earned another term in the House of Representatives.
