In Saturday’s game the freshmen jumped out to an early 14 to 0 lead over the sophomores, but the sophomores roared back to end the half down only 13 to 14. Each team had another touchdown in the second half, and the sophomores had a chance to tie when the1 freshmen failed to convert for an extra point, but the sophomore extra point attempt failed also and the freshmens ended with a 20 to 19 victory.

In the second game Jason Brown got an early touchdown run for the juniors and they had an early 6 to 0 lead. By the end of the half the juniors were ahead 18 to 0 when Mark Jenkins intercepted a senior pass and ran it in for a touchdown.

Flag football was turning into tackle football, as many found it impossible to grab the runner’s flag without tackling him. At one point Mike Wolfe lost his whole shirt before someone grabbed his flag. Luke Zindel’s shirt started out a normal length, but by the end of the game he sported the bare midriff look.
