Green Cards

Foreigners working in the U.S. need to replace their “green cards” by March 20. The original replacement date was Aug. 2,1993, but was moved to Sept. 20,1994.

Now, the Immigration and Naturalization Service is giving alien workers even more time to replace form 151 with a new, more secure, machine-readable 1-551 card.

Green cards holders must apply in person and complete paperwork at the nearest INS district office.
