Bloodmobile Scheduled A bloodmobile is scheduled from 3:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7 at the Washington Fire Hall. The bloodmobile is sponsored by the Rappahannock Extension Homemakers (now known as the Association for Family and Community Education). We encourage “seasoned” and new blood donors to come out and give the “gift of life,” said an organizer.
Volunteer Sessions To Begin Hospice of the Rapidan will be holding its Volunteer Training Sessions from 9:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 8, 10, 15 and 17. Church Benefit Breakfast The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will serve breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Flint Hill fire hall. The menu will consist of sausage gravy, biscuits, bacon, eggs, potatoes, apples, monkey bread, fruits and drinks. Cost will be $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. The ladies of the Church will also have a bake sale at the same time.
Tennis Courts Reserved The Rappahannock County Park Authority will be reserving the tennis courts at the park from 3:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays through mid November for the junior tennis program.
