Elememtary Book Fair

Rappahannock County Elementary School Library is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair Oct. 27-Nov. 2. The book fair will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and until 8 p.m. on Oct. 27.

This reading event features the newest titles from over 70 publishers and presents students, parents and teachers a golden opportunity to see the latest works by popular authors and illustrators of books for young readers.

Family Fun Night Set

A unique and unforgettable family fun night of bonfires around a pond and haunted hay rides through the orchard will be held at Mountain Green Farm in Washington from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.

Included in the festivies are a children’s costume contest, pinatabashing, hotdog and marshmallow roasting, and a hayride through the orchard after dark in search of witches, zhombies, ghouls, vampires, and ghosts!

Spaghetti Dinner Planned

Rappahannock County High School junior class will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 5-8 p.m. during the Parent/Teacher Conference on Thursday, Oct. 27. Proceeds will go toward the prom. Dinner will cost $5 for adults and $3 for children.
