In the old part of town, they put up a plaque on a building if the owner — by improving the appearance of the property — adds to the value of the surroundings.

If the same were true about commercial sites on the Bypass, Joe Jacoby Chrysler-Plymouth-JeepEagle, located at 510 Frost Avenue, Warrenton, would surely get a plaque, too. t This comer lot — which has served as a Mercury dealership, Pontiac dealership, and a shop for a highway striping company, was in terrible shape when Redskin Football legend Joe Jacoby acquired it more than a year ago.

It is now a full-service dealership, with new and used cars and trucks for sale, and a full service and parts department. But having a nice dealership is only the beginning.

Joe Jacoby came into the business just as the Chrysler Corporation was introducing new product lines — especially Jeeps and Chryslers —that were to prove immensely popular both nationally and on the local scene.

In the near future, Joe Jacoby will offer monthly consumer clinics, to provide their customers (and potential customers) with information about different phases of automobile ownership.
