Sycamore Hill House & Gardens, the bed and breakfast atop Menefee Mountain just outside Washington, received a glowing review in the October/November issue of The Riv- ^ iera Reporter, a French/English magazine publishes in the South of France.
The magazine dubs itself “a taste of the best in the Cote D’Azur, and then some.” Contributing Editor Molly Brown, who was a guest at Sycamore Hill House while visiting Washington in August of this year, called the B&B her “favourite country inn, a unique mountaintop B&B where the only sound is the soft chirping of crickets and occasional bird calls.” Ms. Brown remarked on the “spectacular 90-degree view across Virginia’s tree covered Blue Ridge Mountains” from the circular veranda of Sycamore Hill. “The 52acre grounds are an ornithologist’s paradise,” the reported noted. Sycamore Hill House & Gardens is a certified National Wildlife habitat.
Sycamore Hill House & Gardens was also one of only eight Northern Virginia inns recommended in the September issue of the Conde Nast Traveler, and was reviewed favorably in the October issue of Mid-Atlantic Country.
