In light of the recent gun scare at the White House, Wolf said the possibility of closing off Pennsylvania Avenue is not farfetched.

"This came up in 1985 and it is hard to say what can be done about it,” Wolf said. “If they were going to do anything then building a tunnel under Pennsylvania Avenue to prevent a drive-by incident could be the bfest thing.”

“It is very difficult to protect the president, but the Secret Service has been doing a good job,” Wolf said. , Wolf said no matter what the issue, citizen involement is the best answer.

“I don’t think you can do anything, nor should you, without citizens’ approval,” Wolf said. “I think it serves as a lesson when you hold public hearings.”
