Joyce Abell will perform two monologues: “Elderberries” and “Rupert’s Birthday," both written by playwright Ken Jenkins. “Elderberries” is the story of a girl, an old man, and the white raccoon he gave to her. “Rupert's Birthday” presents an independent woman reminiscing about the epiphany of helping a calf be bom and its aftermath.
