Before we blast apart the same old tired lies about Iran/Contra and Oliver North and without delving into Chuck Robb’s partying past, let us look at Chuck Robb, the Senator.
Senator Robb is a former Lt. Governor and Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia and a six-year veteran of the U.S. Senator. One ; should feel responably confident that this man knows something about elected representation, yet his behavior is to the contrary.
The only bill he seems to have introduced was one ot eract a monument to Geroge Mason. He has voted for every congressional pay raise since January 1989 and made a comment in a recent televised debate that he “would take food from widows and orphans to bring down the deficity.” He voted for a defense budget that included millions of pork barrel spending for budget committee members’ hometowns or alma maters, $4 million for the World Cup, and $2 million for the 1996 Olympics; but not enough money for emmunition or armor for the boys in Somalia. Chuck Robb is real budget and defense hawk. Ha!
Chuck Robb has voted for dispensing contraceptives to children in school without the parents’ knowledge or consent.
