“An Evening of the Intimate Schubert” comes to The Theatre at Washington at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12 with a recital of songs and piano music by Rosa Lamoreaus, soprano, Richard Kennedy, tenor, and Betty Bullock, piano.

Rosa Lamoreaux’s performance of this concert during a music festival in Carmel, Ca., earlier this year was a “selj out.” She performs throughout the United States and abroad to high critical acclaim. In this area, she appears frequently at the Kennedy Center, the Washington Cathedral and the Smithsonian Institution. This will be Ms. Lamoreaux’s third vist to the Theatre at Washington.

New to the Theatre will be tenor Richard Kennedy, who has an exceptional background in the music of Schubert. After graduating from the Indiana University School of Music he studied at the Franz Schubert Insitute in Austria, where, in 1981, he won the Franz Schubert Prize for Singers. He has given recitals in this country, including the Spoleto Festival USA, and Carnegie Hall, and abroad.
