One June 20 of this year I submitted my resignation as Secretary and Treasurer of the Loudoun County Democratic Committee to work as the Tenth Congressional District Coordinator for former Governor Doug Wilder’s independent campaign for the United States Senate. Regrettably, my candidate withdrew from the race.

I have always been a Democrat, and Senator Chuck Robb is the official nominee of the Virginia Democratic Party for the' United States Senate. At a luncheon in Leesburg on Oct. 14, I told Senator Robb that he has my whole-hearted support, and that I would do whatever I could to secure his victory on Nov. 8.

This race for the Senate is very important to Virginians of all polticial persuasions. Virginia has only two seats in the United States Sen
