Clearly neither is perfect. Probably not as bad as pictured recently, both certainly seem flawed. Is a choice impossible?
No! We have the same reasonable and logical basis for selection we’d use to pick between two perfect candidates: the principles and policies each supports. Among major issues:
• Do Virginians need and want more government and higher taxes?
• Do we want openly practicing homosexuals in our military?
• Do we want nationalized medicine, governments in control of 14 percent more of our “free economy?”
• Do Virginians oppose term limits and prefer to keep Congress just as it is?
Answer these questions for yourselves first, fellow Virginians. Because Senator Robb and his party want all of these, and Robb has voted for most already. Then you too will support and vote for Oliver North Nov. 8. i
