Helen Smith presented the 1934 “I Dare You Awards” to Scott Updike and Mary Beth Williams for overall achievement and leadership. Kenner Love recognized the 4-H volunteer leaders for their years of service: 1 year: Carolyn Emerick, Hazel Zinn-Day and Jim Massie. 2 years: Kim Love and Tommy Williams. 3 years: Kenner Love and Diane Corbin. 5 years: Sandra Jenkins. 8 years: Linda Mallory. 9 years: Toni Updike. 10 years: J ennifer Gray. . 13 years: Randall Updike. To conclude the program, Mr. Updike thanked the many individuals, businesses, civic club, schools and organizations who contributed and supported the 4AH program during the 1993-94 year. . I Following the program, the 4H’ers, parents, leaders and guests enjoyed refreshments and viewed the club exhibits and scrapbooks.
