The Master Gardener program, a Cooperative Extension horticulture educational effort, is receiving registrations for the newest class. The first session will be from 1-4 p.m. next Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Madison County Extension Office. Classes will be held every Wednesday for 17 weeks and will not be scheduled on holiday weeks. The classes will rotate between the Madison, Culpeper, Orange and Rappahannock Extension Offices.
The Master Gardener program provides in-depth training in moist aspects of horticulture. Participants are expected to give back the equivalent of at least 45 hours of volunteer time in exchange for the training.
