Wood Chips Great as
Year-Round Mulch

Using a chipper, chop spring and summer prunings into wood chips for pathways and under woody ornamentals. Wood chips, as well as pine needles and oak leaves, work great as year-round mulch under acid-loving plants such as azaleas and rhododendrons. Renew mulches under woody ornamentals each fall to give the plant root protection. i
Decomposed lawn clippings return valuable nutrients to turf grass and should be left on the lawn whenever possible. Rake up lawn clippings only when the grass has growr unusually tall between mowings.
