Amissville United Methodist will hold a spaghetti dinner from 5:30-7 p.p. on Friday, Nov. 1. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. A cake walk will follow the dinner. Proceeds go to the church renovation project.
Amissville United Methodist Women will hold its famous Clmstmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Methodist Church on U.S. 211 in the heart of Amissville.
They will offer their usual fare of crafts, Christmas crafts, fresh pecans (halves and pieces), freshly made apple butter, all types of delicious home baked goods and a white elephant table with special bargains.
