When it comes to ability, there is no comparison. Ollie North excels only in his ability as a public speaker. As governor of Virginia, Chuck Robb was able to reduce the crime rate in Virginia by 15 percent, and as senator he was able to use that experience to get a stronger eludes a former secretary of defense, a former secretary of state, a former national security director and a former secretary of the Navy along with many, many others. Chuck Robb has earned the trust of his feland tougher crime bill than was originally proposed. Ollie North’s only experience with crime is as a convicted felon.
As governor of Virginia, Chuck Robb raised the standards of education while not raising taxes. In the senate, he was able to use that experience to make college loans more affordable. Ollie North wants to take tax money from public schools and channel it to private schools.
