Robb has the best chance to garner most of the undecided vote since he is regarded as the lesser of ttto evils, race observers said. The widely-respected Mason-Dixon poll and other polls show that North has higher unfavorable ratings than Robb, indicating that undecided voters would likely favor Robb over North.
“We are going to be appealing to the undecided voter,” said Bert Rohrer, Robb’s campaign spokesman.
Rohrer said Robb will zero in on North’s “extremism,” namely North’s links to controversial religious figures like Pat Robertson and his campaign donors who gave to former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke.
