Walker, pastor of Stevensburg Baptist church in Culpeper, in the guise of E.W. Winfrey (1858-1931) a life long member of Washington (VA) Baptist church. Mrs. Berry recounted Mrs. Jones’ long tenure as president of the Women’s Missionary Society at Washington and her work with the Sunbeams, a primary group of the time.
Slides taken by Howard Holschuh, showing the churches and homes of the historic personages, were projected on the wall behind the speakers.
The Shiloh Association is made up of 32 churches in Rappahannock, Madison, Culpeper, Orange and Green counties.
The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Kathleen LeSueur of Culpeper outgoing moderator of the Association.
