Following the awards ceremony, Scouts and their families got to know one another while eiyoying a hot dog roast. The well-fed crowd then settled down to listen to a scary tale expertly told by storyteller Mike Dunnigan. Not a sound was heared*; from the rapt audience—a highly unusual occurrance in boys this age.
The last half-hour of the gathering returned to more active things with apple bobbing, a bowling game, and Scouts and siblings making full* use of the center playground. 1
