Data Advantage, Inc., of Louisville, Kentucky, recently published cost data for 1993 that compares charges at all 90 Virginia hospitals for the 50 most frequently encountered diagnoses. Hospitals were listed from highest cost to least costly, and CMH ranked as the third lowest facility. “This factor plus the competitive pricing strategy adopted by the PHO physicians could save employers significant health care dollars,” explained Rutkowski.
