the 4th of July festivities for the primary benefit of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department.
The parade starts at 4 p.m. The lineup begins at 3:30 p.m. at the old mill near the library. Bicycles will line up at 4 p.m. at the'courthouse.
“We would like to see every organization in the county participate in this parade,” said Manson. Those interested in participating in the parade should contact her at 6751349.
Performing in the parade will be the Sardell High School marching band from Minnesota who are in a parade elsewhere in Virginia on the 4th of July and volunteered to be in the Town of Washington’s parade the same day.
