Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Mrs. Mattie Hitt Holmes who died last Thursday at the age of 91. She was a life-long resident of Amissville and she and husband Walter had been married almost 71 years.
Our thoughts and prayers are also with the family of 11-year old James Pete Kordonis who died last Wednesday; also for the family of Silas Jolliffe, 71, who died last Friday.
Our prayers also continue for Mr. Thomas Rosenberger who remains in Fairfax Hospital following surgery last week. He entered the hospital on Wednesday.
We’re happy to report Mrs. Mat Carter returned from the nursing home last week and was able to attend the concert at Bethel Baptist on Sunday. It was also good to see Deacon Edward King also at the concert since he suffered a stroke recently. We were sorry to learn Mrs. Doris
