Helen'Dixon of Viewtown reported that four of her female donkeys were missing. Major MacWelch is investigating.
A county school bus was hit in the rear by a vehicle in a minor accident in Castleton last Friday morning.
The accident took place about 7:45 a.m. on Route 626, .5 mile south of Route 619, when a 1995 Chevy driven by Jessica Letsen, 18, of Castleton, ran into the back of the bus driven by Barbara Gore, 45, of Spenyville. The bus sustained no damage, but Ms. Letsen’s car had $2,000 damage. Ms. Letsen was charged by State Trooper C.R. Fox Jr. with following too closely. No one was injured.
