On a recent Sunday Amissville Baptist enjoyed a special event with the dedication of two very special young men, John Mills, son of Wes and Charlotte Mills whs dedicated, as well as Robert Clopp, son of Darryl Clopp.
Reminder, Amissville Baptist has a Sumer Youth Program for youth grades 5-12. For more details call Pastor Tom Everett at 937-6159. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m., evening service at 6 p.m.
On Friday and Saturday, May 24 and 25, many local men will be blessed by their participation in Promise Keepers in Washington, D.C. I understand from other participants, they come home enthusiastic about being better husbands and fathers.
Everyone is invited to attend the Arnissville Health and Fitness Support Group on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to noon. On May 28 the group will hear special guest Chris Blood present a program on “Exercise.” Chris is an EMT and Exercise Consultant with the Hartland Wellness Center.
