Ethel Markham
Ethel Marguerite Markham, 87, of Sperryville died Thursday, May 16 at the MontVue Nursing Home in Luray.
She was bom Nov: 5, 1908, in Center Junction, IA.
She was predeceased by her father, Myron Emerson Dodge; her mother, Lucy Elvina Andrews and her husband, Donald Oran Markham.
She was a nurse.
She is survived by two sons, Richard D. Markham and wife, Ann W. of Sperryville and Don David Markham and wife, Mary P. of Woodstock.
She married Donald Oran Markham Ret. Lt. Col. Ret. January 24, 1931, who died Sept. 11, 1964, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Iowa.
Ashes will be intered in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
