Our community is saddened by the passing of Mrs. Nellie Durant, wife of Steve Durant which occurred Thursday morning and she was laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper on Sunday. Our great sympathy is extended to Mr. Durant and the family upon their loss.
Misses Mary Tharp and Margie Williams were Sunday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Tharp in Culpeper. Mr. Tharp returned home on Wednesday following major surgery in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Other visitors on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Boutchyard of Unionville, Owen Cubbage and Ronnie Cubbage.
