The Sperryville United Methodist Church will hold a yard and bake sale on Saturday, Oct. 11 beginning at 9 a.m. at the home of Mrs. Emma Swindler and Ms. Margaret Bright on U.S. 211. Crafts will also be available.
The church will also be 'selling hamburgers and hot dogs. Proceeds will benefit the Sunday School Program.
The community was saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. Anna Belle Swindler who passed away on Saturday. Our condolences to her family.
Guests of Mrs. Emma Swindler this past weekend were Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Swindler and Barbara Dawn of Hanover, Pa. and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Swindler, Colton and Trent of Carlisle, Pa.
