Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Oct. 8 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Charles Town, W.Va. by the Rev. J. Sherman Mason.
Burial was in Myerstown Cemetery in Myerstown, W.Va.
Mr. Jeffries was bom April 4, 1927, in Washington son of the late Howard and Mary Campbell Jeffries.
He retired from Double Day Company of Berryville and was a member and trustee of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Charles Town.
He was a member of Kings and Queens Club.
Surviving are his wife Janet Robinson Jeffries; a son Leon Rector of Front Royal; a foster daughter Sandra Rodney of Winchester; a stepdaughter Elizabeth Jones of Ranson, W.Va.; a.sister Lilian Green of Luray; two brother Wilson Jeffries of Front Royal and Morris Jeffries of Luray and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Willie Harris, Theodore Harrison, David Jeffries Jr., Robert Green, Reggie Green and James Green.
