Funeral services were held at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville on Saturday, Oct. 4, with the Rev. Henry Townes of Culpeper officiating.
Interment was in Macedonia Flint Hill Cemetery in Flint Hill.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Lifelong resident
Anna Belle Swindler, affectionately known as “Boo Boo”, 93, of Sperryville, died on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Culpeper Health Care Center.
Mrs. Swindler was bom on May 24, 1904 in Sperryville to the late James A. Estes and Ella Hyde Estes.
Mrs. Swindler was a lifelong resident of Sperryville and a member of the Sperryville United Methodist Church. She lived with her sister Emma . who also was her care giver.
Mrs. Swindler is survived by two sisters; Emma Estes Swindler and Margaret Estes Devers both of Sperryville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents Mrs. Swindler was preceded in death by her husband .Roy Albert Swindler, a sister May Estes Taylor and four brothers Abbie Estes, Charles Estes, Edward Este§ and Robert Estes.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 6 at Found and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Merlin Shorb officiating.
