She gave up her job in Washington and is concentrating on her job at the RHAC. There, her knowledge of alternative approaches to medicine is near legend. Through the Internet she accesses information. She realized that people need someone to interface with medical personnel for them and to provide them mofe lengthy and detailed information than they normally get in the 10 to 20 minutes they get to see their doctor.
She also does research and delivers the data to clients about treatments, both mainstream and alternative approaches.
Waites fills in her off time with her family. She makes crafts, wreaths, flowers and hedgerow art. She also gardens for herbs and vegetables.
