William Lee Dodson Jr., 34, of Amissville was arrested for possession of marijuana, DUI and refusal on Jan. 26 at 12:30 a.m. of Route 611 near the Culpeper and Rappahannock County line.
Deputy Ronnie Dodson was conducting a routine check of businesses when he saw a vehicle pull out from one of the stores in the area. Recent larcenies of local stores in the county prompted the deputy to follow the car. He then noticed erratic driving by the operator of the vehicle and attempted to stop it.
The driver did not stop but continued on Route 611 and finally pulled into a private driveway where Deputy Dodson made the arrest.
