Linda Kalassay and Amanda Holt opened a shop in Flint Hill in October called j “Love in Bloom” which unforI tunately did not. They plan to i close at the end of February.
Although some items, like i the European glass ornaments did exceptionally well, they have not had enough business at their present location, 714 Zachary Taylor Highway, to continue.
Kalassay said having a shop did not allow them the freedom to work making the items they sell, so they are looking forward to selling online on the Internet and through mail-order catalogs from their homes in Front Royal and Browntown.
Holt is a self-taught computer operator who is writing a web site for “Love in Bloom.” Kalassay also plans on organizing a mobile show that she will bring to homes and craft shows. Her initial presentation will be at her daughter’s home in Virginia Beach in March.
