Hitt Contracting’s Headquarters Building was dedicated to the memory of Lewis A. Butler on Dec. 23, 1997. This building is located on Dorr Avenue in Fairfax, Va., his last of many projects with Hitt.
A 3-D baroque bronze plaque will be located on the building. The plaque reads, 'Hitt Contracting’s Headquarters is dedicated to the memory of Lewis Butler, friend and field superintendent for 38 years. Mr. Butler’s dedication, good will towards friends and family dnd self sacrifice in his endeavors is unsurpassed. His spirit is a model for how we conduct our business today.”
