sity, the RAA has made a deal with Slopers in Manassas which will provide pants to players at league costs — generally from $4 to $iadepending on the size. The RAA has had to spend $2,500 on new equipment to get themselves back to where they were before the fire.
Slopers has also agreed to hold a League Day at the store at which they will give out grand prizes, goodie bags to the first 50 or so kids, and for which they will have store-wide discounts. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the RAA. Naramore said flyers will be sent out to announce the date.
Faith Mountain Company is also donated proceeds from the sale of its sun catcher to the RAA and sun catchers will be available for purchase at registration or people may call Faith Mountain to order them.
Naramore and Miller said that last year’s fundraiser at Stuart Field helped get fundraising off to a great start an,d the organization has also received support from so many sources. “The Fauquier Little League has been very supportive and people have gone above and beyond, they have just really been nice,” Miller said.
