On Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ki Theatre in Washington, Va. Hearthstone Whole Family Learning Center will present a talk by Hans-Joachim Mattke of Stuttgart, Germany, entitled The Challenge of Education In Our Time.
Mattke, who attended the first Waldorf school in Stuttgart (founded in 1919), has been an educator for almost 30 years, as a high school teacher in Waldorf schools and in Waldorf teacher training. Since 1982 he has directed much of his energy and attention towards the US.,.being involved in extensive work as consultant and teacher in American Waldorf schools.
