Hodge Miller, former KAA president and current member, said, “We certainly invite anyone with masonry experience to help or volunteer a days worth of labor to put up the block.”
The RAA has quite a few carpenters lined up to help but more are always welcome. Anyone interested should call Naramore at 937-5637.
Registration for the 1998 season starts Feb. 7 and will also be held Feb. 14 and 21 at the Ruritan building at Stuart Field from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The costs of registration are: boys, ages 16-18, $60; boys, ages 13-15, $40; boys, ages 512, $35; girls, ages 13-15, $40; girls, ages 5-12, $35. A discount of $5 per family is offered, with two or more children registering.
Tryouts and draft are currently scheduled for March 14 at the Rappahannock Elementary School.
