Feb. 15 in Washington, Va., are McDonald, Quan, Schachman and Slowik. McDonald and Slowik are both founding members of the Players, and both have toured world-wide with the Castle Trio and Smithson String Quartet. Quan and Schachman, both graduates of the Juilliard School and founding members of the Aulos Ensemble, have each appeared as soloists with orchestras throughout America.
This concert is the second of three in the Brilliance of the Baroque series. The opening concert was held in the fall of last year and the series concludes with the concert on April 18. Tickets for this concert, and for the one on April 18, are $14 with reservation and $15 at the door. Tickets for students 18 and under are half price.
