The board appointed a committee, consisting of Supervisor Charles K. “Pete" Estes, Tom Junk, Barbara Williams, Martin Woodard and one other person yet to be decided, to conduct hearings, tackle issues, formulate proposals and make funding requests for the Sperryville project.

• County Administrator John McCarthy reported that the county is owed a total of $25,760.07 in delinquent taxes for taxes which are three (or more) years delinquent.
