Valentine s dinner planned
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad is having its annual Valentine’s dinner on Saturday, Feb. 14 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary School: The meal will consist of half barbecued chicken with wild rice, mashed potatoes, peas, rolls, garden salad, homemade desserts and beverages. Prices are $8.50 for adults; couples, two for $16 and children eight and under $4.50. The meal will be prepared by Pat Jenkins and Company. Fruit school scheduled
The Madison-Rappahannock Fruit School will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12 at Graves Mountain Lodge beginning at 9 a.m. A planned program with a variety of topics will be held throughout the day. Call the Rappahannock Extension Office for additional information, 675-3619.
Valentine’s dance planned
There will be a Valentine’s dance, sponsored by the Culpeper Swine 4-H Club on Friday, Feb. 13 at the Culpeper Middle School from 7 to 11 p.m. This dance is for 4-H’ers, ages 9 to 19 and alumni from Culpeper, Madison and Rappahannock counties. Tickets are available from David Massie or at the Rappahannock Extension Office. The cost is $3 for singles and $5 for couples.

The Rappahannock County High School class of 1988 is planning its 10 year reunion! The organizers of the reunion need addresses and/or phone numbers so everyone can be notified of this gala event.
