Dried flower and
heirlooms in the
living room
'The living room has dried flowers, a few “too-pretty-touse bird houses,” and my turnof-the century seed packet collection in a 1930’s seed rack. In the bedrooms, there are more grapevines on our headboards made from trees and porch posts from a turn-of-the century house that was near the Virginia Tech campus before it was taken down.
In the family room, I’ve found some flowers that I pressed last spring to make note cards and a scattering of autumn leaves that I waxed to
